Yogyakarta, a beautiful city

Have you ever felt what I feel? feeling so excited just hearing that you guys are going to visit
somewhere? A place you have never gotten tired of coming to over and over again. yes, for me that
place is Yogyakarta, a place with all its beauty and uniqueness.

Yogyakarta is the capital and administrative center of the Special Region of Yogyakarta,
Indonesia. This city is a big city that maintains traditional concepts and Javanese culture. The city of
Yogyakarta is one of the largest cities in Indonesia. Yogyakarta is also known as a student city with many
universities in this city.

I have been to Jogja several times. I have just visited Jogja a few months ago, but I always
wanted to go back there. Since my brother has studied in Jogja, I am increasingly excited to invite my
family to go there. I have gone to Jogja by car once and it took up to 10 hours. I once stayed in Jogja with
my family for a week. We have visited many places, restaurants, squares, and many more.

Many simple things I have done that made me very happy, I have walked in the crowds of
Malioboro, walked around the Beringharjo market, hunted for snacks sold by traders, or watched the
interactions of the people I passed. I have walked in the middle of the bustling Malioboro street, and
you guys should try it too. Malioboro is very beautiful in the morning or even at night. Decorated with
street lamps and from the shop beside the road made me spoiled by a very beautiful view.

I have visited many destinations in Jogja, from beaches to mountains. I have already visited
Malioboro temple, but I have never been to the Prambanan temple yet. I have also visited the very
iconic Yogyakarta monument. There are so many vehicles passing by there so it is rather difficult to take
pictures in front of the Jogja monument. In Yogyakarta there is also a Parangtritis beach, I have visited it
once. I has also visited the square and the palace of Yogyakarta which is no less interesting.

Jogja is not only served by natural scenery and beautiful places. I have felt how thick traditional
and cultural concepts are there. There are still many people there who interact by using the Javanese
language. Not a few architectural buildings there use traditional designs. There I have visited a lot of
restaurants selling traditional food. My favorite is Gudeg, I have tasted many types of gudeg in Jogja.
From sweet to spicy, of dry and wet. All are equally delicious and I can only meet in Jogja of course.

In Jogja, I have found many places that can be used as a resting place. From just a halfway house
to a five-star hotel. I have stayed in several hotels in Jogja and I think the hotels there are very suitable
for families. For backpackers who just want to stay overnight, there are lots of places available and also
at very affordable prices.

With my experience in Jogja, I really want to stay there. I have even planned to study there for
years. I hope that one dream comes true.
