“EMPLOYER” RESPONSIBILITY

• To provide a safe working environment in all areas for all


employees.
• Comply with safety and health rules, regulations, and
orders.
“EMPLOYEE” RESPONSIBILITY
• Adhere to the ADH Health and Safety Policy.
• Become familiar with ADH Office Safety & Security
Plan.
• Participate in all scheduled drills.
• Report all workplace injuries/illnesses to your
supervisor immediately.
• Report unsafe conditions.
HEALTH & SAFETY PROGRAM
• Provides the laws and rules set by state and federal
government.
• Acknowledges Facility Safety Committee and Facility
Safety Officers.
• Gives an outline of a potential workplace hazards and
preventions.
• Provides information regarding the documentation of
occurrences.
OFFICE SAFETY & SECURITY PLAN
The Office Safety & Security Plan will vary for each
facility. It provides employees with the following
information:
• Security Issues.
• Safety Issues.
• Bomb Threat Response.
• Severe Weather or Chemical Release
Response.
• Earthquake Response, and
• Assembly Area Maps.
WORKPLACE HAZARDS
• Housekeeping Hazards.
• Machine Hazards.
• Electrical Hazards.
• Fire Hazard.
• Chemical Hazards, and
• Ergonomic Hazards.
GENERAL SAFETY PRACTICES
• ALL ADH employees should receive training on
safety rules.

• NO drugs or alcohol.
• Do not tamper with any equipment or machinery
that is not within the scope of your job duties.

• Wear proper clothing & footwear.


• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
GENERAL SAFETY PRACTICES
• Lifting.
• Report injuries immediately.
• Report maintenance problems, and
• Don’t forget . . . Teamwork!
