PROBLEM/SOLUTION OVERVIEW

Barangay Officials are often absent or busy with their works, and most of the

residents are far from the barangay or they are in other provinces. So, we thought of

making these feature CLIENT REQUIREMENTS TRANSACTION for our proposed

system to accommodate client requirements. So, with this feature, all clients will be

accommodated even if the barangay officials are absent or busy.

BHW and BNS are having difficulty in recording data and monitoring their

zones, so with these features, BARANGAY HEALTH MONITORING, will facilitate the

work of BHW and BNS and to avoid confusion and loss of important files.

Barangay officials can easily lose their personal records if they are using

only manual file records like books or other manual records that can be used in their

barangay. So, with this feature BARANGAY RECORDS MANAGEMENT of our

proposed system, with the use of this system barangay officials can safely save their

personal records, and reports for their barangay.

Simple Task

The simple task of the MAGINHAWA File Management System, are

registration, sending files, requesting a file, editing data in a file,

deleting a file, copying a file, moving a file, and adding a file.

Moderate Task

The moderate tasks of the MAGINHAWA File Management System, are

storing data in a file, and accessing files on a storage location (database).

Complex Task

The complex task of the MAGINHAWA Management System is securing a

file and retrieving a file.

MODALITIES EXPLORATION

We created this MAGINHAWA SYSTEM to help the barangay officials, and

to facilitate their creation of documents, and to keep their personal files safe

and to not lose. And processing our system is portable and easy to access.

So, when we say it is portable meaning to say we/you can access this

system in different modalities such as Personal Computer, Tablet, And

Desktop Computer. From this mentioned modality, users may access this

system easily and portable and with less hassle.

• PERSONAL COMPUTER - by using a personal computer, users

may access this system in their office or even in their home if they

have one. And using a PC will execute the system faster, be

flexible, and can work multitask.

• TABLET – by using a tablet, the user can access the system easily

and portable. By using this modality users can access anywhere

they go or even if the user is not on duty at their office, and it allows

users to multitask while accessing the system. In this modality, it is

not just portability that this can provide for the system but

accessibility.

• DESKTOP COMPUTER – by using a desktop computer, the user

can access the system anywhere s/he goes, unlike a tablet, the

desktop can execute multiple features that a tablet cannot do. In

this modality execution of this system will be more portable and

faster. In this modality, the user can multitask and access the

system portably and comfortably.

So, from the modalities mentioned above, we decided to select the

modalities which are PERSONAL COMPUTER AND DESKTOP

COMPUTER, because they are both easy to access and dependable in

executing the system. And we choose this because they are the

modalities that are available to their barangay office. In that case we can

assure that the user will be comfortable in accessing the system and we

can give users the best experience for their work and provide

convenience and innovation.

PAPER PROTOTYPE

Low-level Fidelity

We based the low-level prototype on the process of the

storyboard, follow the flow, and make changes to emphasize

the process. In that case, we can show the one main process

that a user needs.

High level

Same as the low level we based on the process of the

storyboard, we modified it and add some icons and design. In

that case, we can finally identify how its flow and process.

Greater time commitment

From the two prototypes that we created we choose the high-

level fidelity. We choose it according to its functionality and

reliability, First, we did analyze the functionality, if is it working

properly, and if it can execute simple tasks and the desired

function. Second, we observe the reliability if is it giving the

right process and can give convenience to the user or can

work fast. Let's say if the user login to the system it will

directly go to the dashboard which is a user can choose a

process that will satisfy his/her needs. Let's say that the user

clicks on the complaint, automatically the complaint page will

show the screen where the user can register and write his/her

complaint, for example, if the user will complain about

harassment s/he will click the harassment button which allows

the user to provide the necessary information in order to

process his complain after the user completed providing the

necessary information and complain the user may click the

submit button to register his complaint to the system. After

submitting the form, it will go back to the complaint page

which allows the user to register another complaint, if the user

has no other complaint user may click cancel in order to go

back to the dashboard.
