“The Philippine Environmental Policy”

The Philippine Environmental Policy aims to create, develop, maintain, and

improve conditions under which man and nature can thrive in productive and
enjoyable harmony with each other and to fulfill the social, economic and other
requirements of present and future.

In my point of view, this law would be a good foundation for laws which aims to
preserve our natural resources for future generations. Although we already have a
lot of environmental laws which focus on preserving the environment, our
environmental resources are still rapidly depleting, which points out that the laws
is not the problem but the one enforcing it. We already have many laws regarding
our environment but it is obvious that a lot of people especially companies violates
them and gets away with it. Hence, the laws in my opinion are sufficient , the only
problem is its enforcement.
