1 TEST SUMMARY

The purpose of the operational test is to control the performance of the


running pump at various flow rates.

1.1 AIM OF THE OPERATIONAL TEST

The aim of the operational test is to operate P-113710 and associated


equipment.

1.2. TEST DESCRIPTION

• Fill inhibited water compatible with environment into the DRUM


and associated lines (possibility to use calibration bottle)
• Run the pump at the various flow rates

1.3. TEMPORARY INSTALLATION

• The power supply by temporary generator


• Temporary lines from discharge line of the pumps to the drip pan
(open drain) or to empty drum

1.4. SPECAIL PRECAUTION

3 TEST REQUIREMENT

3.1 PRECOMMISSIONING ACHIEVEMENT

The precommissioning of all equipment within the sub-system must be


completed for all disciplines

ù Preliminary check and punch list done

Only authorized personnel will be allowed in the areas where testing


is taking place

4 TEST PREPARATION

4.1 BLIND LIST

None.

4.2 MECHANICAL PREPARATION TASK

ù Before mechanical preparation task the pump shall be electrically to


"OFF" position

ù Check the pump as per check list from FG 5222

ù Check the level of oil before starting the pump

ù Install hose on discharge line of the pumps at battery limit to open


drain or to drum

ùInstall a temporary device (such as back pressure valve,


relief valve or needle valve) at the injection pumps discharge line to
simulate the required operating pressure

4.3. SUB-SYSTEM PREPARATION TASK

ù Check that PSV is line up correctly

ù Check that the lining up of all circuits and instrumentation are


correct

ù The circuit for operation test is shown in the following P&ID :

5.1 START UP STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE

P-113710 : INJECTION PUMP

ù Energize PM-113710
ù Open tank line valve to suction pump
ù Open P-113710 A discharge line valve
ù Adjust the flow rate to 0,5 1/h by housing calibration pot
ù Start P-113710
ù Record 1 set of readings at each flow rate as per attached test sheet
form FG5223
ù Stop P-113710
ù Close suction and discharge lines valves
ù De-energize PM-113710
ù Drain the water out of the circuit
ùDisconnect the hoses
ù Re-install the pipe work

Note :
ù Maintain the water level in the drum while all tests
ù Discharge pressure injection pumps must be reached P>89 barg

6 OPERATIONAL TEST PROCEDURE

6.1. DEMONSTRATION TEST (will be conducted as per section 5.1)
