Before I get started on my speech, I would like to greet each and everyone a Good Morning.

Millennials

They have wildly different money goals. Millennials' approach to money differs strikingly from previous
generations like the Baby Boomers and Generation X. ... Millennials tend to think short-term – they do
save, but tend to save for things like a holiday rather than an investment for the future.Compared with
previous generations, Millennials – those ages 22 to 37 in 2018 – are delaying or foregoing marriage and
have been somewhat slower in forming their own households. They are also more likely to be living at
home with their parents, and for longer stretches.Millennials were the first generation to feel the
impact of access. Access caused Millennials to have different perspectives, expectations, and
behaviors. ... Because the environment was different, the generation became different. The
environment was the most high-tech, complex, and innovative in human history.Nurtured and
pampered by parents who didn't want to make the mistakes of the previous generation, millennials are
confident, ambitious, and achievement-oriented. They also have high expectations of their employers,
tend to seek new challenges at work, and aren't afraid to question authority. To some, members of
Generation Y, also known as millennials, are liberal, insanely tech savvy, self-expressive, confident, and
open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. ... The key lies in understanding the characteristics
that define the generation.Flexible and in control,

Millennial is not simply a generation. It is an attitude that is reaching across generations. They are just as
optimistic as any previous generation. They don't look up to brands or institutions or figureheads as
much.

As part of a so-called "Millennial Generation", I am so blessed to experience almost all the advantages of
a young Filipino compared to the young Filipino whom they fought for their freedoms just to conquer
each and every day. Compared to their lives as written from the books that described the situations of
young generations from the history, our lives today don't need to suffer many hindrances just to
experience good quality education. Before, only children who belong to the most elite families were
allowed to continue their education. Nowadays, as the current young Filipino, we have all the freedom
to enjoy education including the benefits given by the government, we may also choose wherever
universities or other well-known schools.

For some young Filipinos who don't know how to value their freedom, please think about all the positive
things we currently have compared to the others from different times. For those who were blaming
their parents for implementing strict regulations for their children to follow, they are only doing that for
the sake of a good future because parents do know what their children may experience in the future
without having a good education.

To all my fellow "Millennials", together let us prove the words that our national hero once said,
"Kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan".
