Introduction

Firstly, the product is educational toys designed specifically for children with learning
difficulties, the children who are in the preliminary schools with age group from 6 to 9 years.
The product marketed within two types. The first is for number learning and the second is for
letters learning. Both designs are a combination between educational and enjoyment aspects.
The selected marketable product will be in a variety of designs and shapes that are compliant
with specifications based on the findings of relevant scientific research.

The product was selected after studying and clearly understanding of the successful
key including customer’s needs and wants, market place, and another factors as the type of
products sold and customer preferences.

Recently researches argued that toys that combine education and play are among the
most important tools for educating children and considered as the most important tools that
meet the customer needs in this field (Hall et al., 2022). However, this concept is still new in
the market and there are a significant lack of this type of product in the market. All of this
conclude that there are essential customer needs for this product. The product that combined
between play and learning, specially designed for the children who are having learning
difficulties, are mainly formulated the customer wants. Furthermore, this product is usually
presented to the market with prices almost available for all which satisfying the customer
demands.

In Jordan, Almost a quarter of children aged 6 to 9 in the preliminary schools are


having learning diffuculties (Alodat et al., 2020). So, there are a presence of a large segment
of customers for this product including individual (The parents of children) and schools (both
private and governmental schools that concerned with educating the children with learning
difficulties). All of that enhance the decision of selection this specific product.

One of the reasons of selecting this product also that it will play main role to
satisfying more than one of the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs). The most important
one is the quality education goal. It will contribute to raising the level of education for
children. The product also will. The quality educational goal is directly related to this product
type and it considered as to ensure that all children with learning disabilities receive the

appropriate care and education during the preliminary stage and be will prepared for
secondary education. According to Nilsson et al. (2016), providing people with learning
difficulties with a high-quality primary education is a critical tool for enhancing learning
process and achieving the desired efficiency of educational institutions. However, more
SDGs are explained at the end of this report

Another reason for choosing this product that I have the related knowledge that I
acquired during my university studies in the specialty of learning difficulties in children. So, I
have the ability to understand the customer needs and wants. Furthermore, the ability to
diversify the product into different designs and shapes based on continuous feedback from
the user. This will give more durability to the product. Meanwhile, this goal will be as
baseline for achieving another goal that No Poverty goal where with good education is the
key to escaping poverty. In addition to that it will participate to achieve Good health and
Well-being goal. Not paying attention to the early stages of educating children with learning
difficulties will have a negative impact on providing a healthy generation to society. The role
of the producer in helping children with learning difficulties will have a positive role in
achieving these goals

Finally, this product will satisfy the customer value which is considered as the key of
success while it designed to meet customer needs as well as offer value to the customer
money. However, the product was chosen because of its strong potential to be commercially
viable, technically practicable, and economically desirable.
