A cloud service provider is a third-party company offering a cloud-based platform,


infrastructure, application, or storage services.

2. What is Platform as a Service (PaaS)?

Platform as a service (PaaS) is a complete development and deployment environment in


the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything from simple cloud-based
apps to sophisticated, cloud-enabled enterprise applications.

3. What are two (2) benefits of cloud computing?

Two benefits of cloud computing are; the ability to not only rely solely on “on-premises servers”,
as well as customization though changing servers to personal preference.

4. What is one (1) disadvantage of using cloud computing?

One disadvantage of using cloud computing is that it relies on internet connection. Having bad
connections may cause issues accessing necessary information needed.
