Cut the work from the ball leaving a long tail.
Thread this through the remaining 8 stitches and
pull up tightly .Continue using this thread to close
the leg seam using mattress stitch. Stuff the first
leg.
Thread the tapestry needle with your cast on tail and use it to begin closing the seam at the head and the
body using mattress stitch and leaving a gap through which to stuff to the head and the body.
Thread a tapestry needle with 15cm length of yarn A ( here I have used Orange yarn for contrast ), use
this thread to close the gap at the top of head.
Stuff to the head and the body. Use felt fabric, cut two small circles ( diameter ~ 12mm) for the eyes. In-
sert the eyes in eye patches. Sew the eyes to the head. Use black thread to embroider the nose ( at row 21)
, the mouth ( row 32) and the whiskers.
Thread a tapestry needle with a thread from the body and use this thread to close the seam on the body

Stuff the body. Thread a tapestry needle with 30cm of yarn A ( here I have used Orange yarn for con-
trast), use this thread to close the gap on the body using Horizontal mattress stitch.
