A. Materials:
 Yarn: Sport or fingering weight yarn. ( I used Yarn Art Jeans)
 Needles: - One size US 2 ( 2,75mm) circular needles.
- A pair of US 2 ( 2,75mm) knitting needles.
 A tiny button.
 Tapestry needle.
B. Abbreviations:
 k : knit.
 p : purl.
 k2tog: Knit 2 stitches together.
 k3tog: Knit 3 stitches together.
 cdd: Center double decrease.
 yo : yarn over.
 ( )*….. : Repeat instruction …..times.
 3nj : 3 needles join .( Knit together a stitch from the front and back
needles)

C. Pattern.
1. Ruffle.
Use circular needles cast on 124 stitches.
 Row 1: ( k2, p2) * 31 . ( wrong side)
 Row 2: ( k2, p2) * 31.
 Row 3: ( k2, p2) * 31.
 Row 4: ( k2tog, k3tog) * 12, k2tog, ( k2tog, k3tog) * 12, k2tog. (
50 stitches)
Cut yarn. Slide all stitches to the other tip of the needle.

2. Dress.
Use knitting needles cast on 74 stitches, leaving a tail of 6 inches for
seaming later.
 Row 1: k74. ( right side)
 Row 2: k74.
 Row 3: k2, ( p1, k3)*18.
 Row 4: p74.
 Row 5: k1, ( k3, p1) * 18, k1.
 Row 6: p74.
 Row 7 – Row 22: Repeat rows 3 – 6 more four times.
 Row 23: k2, ( p1, k3) * 18.
 Row 24: p74.
 Row 25: k1, ( k2tog) * 36, k1. ( 38 stitches)
 Row 26: p38.
 Row 27: k38.
 Row 28: p8, cast off 3 stitches purl – wise, p15, cast off 3
stitches purl – wise, p7. ( 32 stitches)
 Row 29: k1 (only dress), ( 3nj) * 7 , k10 ( only ruffle), ( 3nj) *
16, k10 ( only ruffle), ( 3nj) * 7, k1 ( only dress). (52 stitches).

Knit 1 only dress, then knit both 2 layers 7 times.

Then knit 10 stitches on ruffle

Then knit both 2 layers 16 times.

Then knit 10 stitches on ruffle, knit both 2 layers 7 times, knit 1 on dress.

 Row 30: p52.
 Row 31: k6, cdd, k8, cdd, k12, cdd, k8, cdd, k6. ( 44 stitches)
 Row 32: p44.
 Row 33: k5, cdd, k6, cdd, k10, cdd, k6, cdd, k5. ( 36 stitches)
 Row 34: p36.
 Row 35: k4, cdd, k4, cdd, k8, cdd, k4, cdd, k4. ( 28 stitches)
 Row 36: p28.
 Row 37: k26, yo, k2tog.
 Row 38: p28.
 Row 39: k28.
 Row 40: cast off in purl.
Sew a tiny button on the dress. Thread the tapestry needle with
the cast on tail and join the seam up the middle of the back using
mattress stitch. Finish the seam at the row 23.
