Bear Girl
Hello and welcome to this amigurumi pattern by The Wandering Deer!
A little girl in her bear costume with her little basket ready to go for trick or
treat! Using the suggested yarn and hook, it will turn out about 12cm.
Here is what you will need:

Tools Suggested Abbreviations


2mm hook ch: chain
Super fine yarn sc: single crochet
Darning needle inc: increase (2 sc in same stitch)
Fiberfill hdc: half double crochet
4 mm black beads & black thread dc: double crochet
or 4 mm safety eyes dec: decrease (sc2tog)
(you can also embroider eyes) slst: slip stitch

You can use any yarn Suggested Yarn


with a matching Hair: Rainbow Cotton 8/4 - Black (009)
hook, but it will Skin: Rainbow Cotton 8/4 - Almond (089)

Make a magic ring, sc 6 in the ring. (6)

increase in each stitch around (12)

Legs & Body
With brown yarn
We will start by making the legs and then join them
together and continue to the body.
First leg
Round 1 Bear Girl
Make a magic ring, sc 6 in the ring. (6)

Round 2
(sc in next, inc in next) around (9)

Round 3
sc around in back loops only (9)

Round 4-9 (6 rounds)


sc around (9)
Fasten off.

Second leg + Body


Round 1-9
Repeat first leg but do not fasten off.

Round 10
sc in the next 2 stitches, attach with a sc to 1st
leg and sc in the next 8 stitches.
sc in the rest 7 stitches of 2nd leg. (18)

Round 11-17 (7 rounds)

Stuff

Round 18
(sc next 5, dec twice) twice. (14)

(sc next 3, dec twice) twice. (10)

Stuff a bit more

Fasten off and leave a long tail for attaching the


head and closing the gap between the legs.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Sew on top of the head, making sure you have


plenty space to make the face.

Pig Tails

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Sew the pig tails on the edge of hair, about 7


stitches apart from the eyes.

Belly
With white yarn
Round 1
chain 4, sc in the 2nd chain from hook and to
the next stitch. Inc last.
Now we will work in the other side of the chain.
sc in the next 2 stitches, inc last. (8)

Round 2
(inc next, sc next) around. (12)

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.


Sew on the 11th-17th round of body.

Sew it in the 7th-9th round, 2 stitches away from


eyes.

1. Using a thread and a needle, begin by 5. To start the mouth insert the needle a few

Cheeks: Embroider under eyes

Handle Smile: Embroider between eyes

with gray yarn


Attach yarn on a side stitch and ch12.
Fasten off and leave a tail to sew it to the
other side. (7 stitches apart)

Assembly guide
Body: 17th round of head.
Arms: 17th-18th round of body.
Hair: Sew on top of the head
Ponytails: Sew the pig tails on the edge of hair,
about 7 stitches apart from the eyes.

Eyes: 12th round of head, 7 stitches apart


Cheeks: Embroider under eyes
Smile: Embroider between eyes

Belly: 11th-17th round of body.


Bear Ears: 4th-7th round of hoodie, 6 stitches
apart.
Bear Eyes: 8th round of hoodie, 8 stitches
apart.
Bear Cheeks: Embroider under eyes
Bear Muzzle: Sew it in the 7th-9th round,
2 stitches away from eyes.
