SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

Role
In the role as a Senior Java Developer you will find yourself in a cross functional team
delivering products that contributes to the benefit of the society while working with business
critical solutions.
Your mission is to ensure that the infrastructure of our solutions lives up to high expectations of
availability and stability, and support the team in further development of our products. You will,
of course, write a lot of code as you gravitate towards the big problems as nothing beats the
feeling of solving them. We run a scrum development process and we hope that you are an
agile enthusiast who can help us improve as a team and push the pace of our agile
transformation.

Responsibilities
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Java code;
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems;
• Recommend changes to improve established java application processes;
• Ensure continuous professional self-development.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Java back-end development (Java SE, Spring,
Hibernate);
• Experience with relational DBs (MySQL);
• Experience in developing Web Services (SOAP and REST);
• Understand the design and structure of a micro service architecture;
• Strong mindset for automated testing (Cucumber, Mockito, JUnit);
• Knowledge and understanding of software workflows CI/CD including build
systems like Gradle, Maven, Git and Github actions;
• Agile enthusiast;
• Good spoken and written English is required;
• Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus;
• Action and results orientated, ability to manage multiple priorities is also
expected;
• Proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results - orientated nature.
