About Retail Finance:

Piramal Group is looking to set up a consumer and small business lending franchise, to go with
their existing presence in the wholesale lending space. Our intent is to build this out into a
multi-product lending business, with tech at its core. Over the last few years, the tech
landscape in India has changed dramatically, and there are things that are possible today that
were not possible even five years ago. That enables us to build a business that is fundamentally
different from what one would have build in years past. The presence of the India stack, the
availability of cloud solutions, the customers’ own evolution into more tech enabled users, GST
data, RBI’s e- and video-KYC norms, all enable a fundamentally different business build. It is in
that context that we are looking for top talent to form our initial leadership team which will
bring alive the aspirations.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Customer Insight :
• To have a continuous connect with the field staff for generating insights on customer behavior
• To be abreast of the changes happening in competition
• Complete understanding of product innovations invoked in the market

Product Design and Innovation :


• Translating the customer insight into product design and coming out with the Innovative product
offerings for affordable housing segment
• Engaging with the external and internal stakeholders for feasibility, sign of and launch of products
• Testing out these concepts with the field and channel

Journey creation :
• Own end to end customer journey from prospect to disbursement
• Working closely with counterparts in other functions including the technology team to go live with the
new product proposition.
Key responsibilities

Channel Activation and Engagement :


• Finding the right means for engaging and empaneling channel, DSAs, connectors, digital DSAs,
other partnerships (in collaboration with the partnerships teams)
• Ensuring high activation levels

Incentive and Scorecard Design :


• Creating and designing the right payout structures for channels
• Creating monetary and non-monetary mechanisms reward mechanisms
• Creating Internal incentives scheme for the organization
• Balance score cards creation in collaboration with the analytics team

KPI and P&L measurement :


• Creating and designing the right dashboards together with the analytics and technology team
• Measuring the KPIs and publishing product profitability

Performance Management :
• Identifying the right levers for improving performance and product profitability
• Orchestrating internal reviews
