The author evaluated their title sequence for a horror/thriller-themed idea. They felt the dark setting and lack of details in the filmed rooms helped create an eerie feeling. While the overall sequence was better than expected, the author felt the ending needed improvement as it had too abrupt a zoom into the door. Some camera movements also seemed unsteady. The author determined the sequence mostly followed the original plan, and they enjoyed the video process more than expected, though could still develop Premiere Pro skills like navigation and proper tool usage.

I feel that my title sequence works well with the concept of
my idea because as my overall idea was a horror/thriller theme. I think that I was able to portray this feeling throughout the whole sequence using different techniques which I felt would be fitting. I made sure I had a dark setting throughout the whole thing and that the rooms I was filming didn’t have a lot going on, so it would have a more eery feeling to it. I think that my overall title sequence didn’t turn out as bad as I thought, but there is definitely some things that I would change or add such as the ending. This is where I feel it needed to be most improved as I think it looks a little to jumpy and rushed as it zooms into the door. I also think some of the camera movement could have been a bit more controlled as I think it looks a little jolty. I think my sequence wasn’t much different to my original plan, it was mainly just a couple clips that I have ended up changing because I wasn’t able to get a decent clip to use. Overall the things that I’ve learnt from this process is that I definitely enjoy video a lot more than I thought I did. The skills that I feel that need a bit more developing is my use of premiere pro, I know what I am doing on the software most of the time but there is still certain points where I’m not sure where to find something or how to use is properly.
