This document summarizes a water treatment plant upgrade project for a power plant. The existing on-site water treatment plant needed to be upgraded but there was no space available. To minimize on-site construction, the new water treatment equipment was installed inside six 40-foot containers. The containerized water treatment plant can produce 2 x 60 m3/h of ultrapure water and includes equipment for filtration, reverse osmosis, cleaning, and electrodeionization. Installation involved connecting the container piping system to the existing site pipes and wiring.

2 x 60 m³/h ultrapure water for power plant - WTP in 6 x 40’
containers The existing water treatment plant was supplied in 1970. An upgrade of the water treatment plant was required, but no free space at site was available. Also, the construction works on-site was requested to be minimized.
It was decided to order the equipment built inside 40’ containers. Site installation was reduced to the pipe system and the electrical wiring between the containers.
