It seems to me that with all their data collection on employee performance, the objective is to replace
humans 100% with robots at their fulfillment centers and ultimately replace their delivery contactors
with self-driving vehicles.

These people who say Amazon is too big should be pushing the company to treat their staff as well as
they do the customers. For me, Amazon's improved my life. I need reminding to take my meds and had
the choice of buying an item that does that one task for £80 or an echo dot for £25 with the bonus of
asking what day it is. I also self-published a couple of books, won't say who with but the author's price
with postage made it cheaper to get them from Amazon. I bought 10 books and know other people
bought them but received zero royalties. Now I'm publishing through Amazon I have received payments.

The fact that the very last words spoken in this video is "this video is also available on Amazon prime
video" says everything that needs to be said...

My preference is always to go to a physical store- I love brick and mortar book stores for the
environment to browse and discover new things, read a few pages, etc. Same with clothing- try it on,
view in a mirror, discover how it fits. Shoes, the same. Also camping gear like backpacks. Fit and comfort
are essential and I do appreciate decent customer service, which seems to be ever dwindling. The
convenience of ordering online is good, but it lacks the social aspect of being amongst other humans
and getting out of the house. Those are the intangibles that Amazon can’t replace.
