Hi everyone and welcome to my podcast,

I’m Millie and coming up I will be covering the topic of
something taking over our country at this moment in
time this being the cost of living in education.
*jingle*
We all know that the cost of living has been an
ongoing problem for a long time and according to the
office of national statistics 9 in 10 students enrolled in
higher education reported that there cost of living had
increased compared to last year. Over half of students
felt as if they was facing financial difficulties (over
50%.)

What would you say is holding you back from going to
university?
Do you think the government’s process (e.g student
loans….) and expenses are fair? (e.g rent, term prices,
providing food and drink)
