Learning Materials for School Year 2022-2023

Punang National High School learning material enhances the quality of learning and improving
students’ performances. Learning modules are printed and non-printed materials that guide both teachers and
learners through learning content of activities for subject matter. Issues encountered on learning approaches
were communication failure on instruction or confusion of students on modules, limited teacher guidance,
students’ discourteous approach to teachers, complaints of not understanding the module which resulted of
misbehaviour of students and failure to pass worksheets on time.
In addition, the learning materials of teachers were not enough for teaching such as: textbooks,
limited internet connection which interrupt communication between teachers and students including time
constraints due to overload and additional paper works. Furthermore, equipment problem and complexity of
the discussion as well as the measurement of students’ and managing students’ responses from time to time
were also part of school issue.
Teachers must be flexible with different teaching strategies and learning materials per subject is not
enough for 314 students. Moreover, modules and books as well as other teaching resources were damaged
during flash flood. Those learning resources were not retrieved last school year 2021-2022.
