E. APPLICATION
Let’s have another activity, I will give you a
task that each group needs to accomplish and
present in the class.

(The tasks will be flashed on the screen)

 Hemingway’s Artistic Team – Make a
virtual poster slogan based on the
theme of the story. 1 representative
from the group will present and
explain their output.
 Austen’s Songbirds Team – Compose a
short jingle song dedicated to Laura to
uplift her spirit.
 Shakespeare’s Dramatist Team –
Perform a 2 to 3 minutes phone
conversation motivating Jim to pursue
his passion. 1 from the group will act
as Jim and the others will act as Jim’s
friends motivating him to pursue his
passion.

None, ma’am.
You will be given 10 minutes to do the activity.

Do you have questions class?

F. GENERALIZATION
Class, what have you learned from today’s
discussion? We tackled the excerpt from Tennessee
William’s famous play “The Glass of
Menagerie Scene 7”, which focuses on
accepting who we are and striving to
become better every day.
Very good. What is the relationship of the
characters in the story? Tom and Laura are siblings, their mother is
Amanda. While Jim is an old acquaintance
of Tom and Laura.
Exactly, can you now give me the summary of
the story? (The student will give the summary of the
story)
Good job. And what is your greatest realization,
that you think the story wants to emphasize? Don’t let our flaws manipulate and hinder
us from becoming the person we dream of,
or we wanted to be. That there is nothing
to be ashamed of despite having flaws. We
must love and embrace who we are. We
are all wonderfully made!
That’s amazing!! I am glad that you were able to
understand the story, at the same time instill in
your mind the lesson of the story.
Do you have any questions or clarification,
class? None, ma’am.

II. I’m Beautifully Made!

Last meeting, I gave you an assignment wherein I asked you to design (using any art materials
available in your home) the ¼ illustration board based on your preference and leave a blank
space in the middle. For your last task, write a self-affirmation in the blank space. That once you
saw that placard it will help you to stay motivated every day.

Example:

 I am beautiful.
 I am confident.
 I am powerful.
 I am strong.
 I am an unstoppable force of nature.

V. ASSIGNMENT

a. Follow up
Take a selfie with your placard. Upload it in the assigned tab in the Google Classroom
and on our Facebook Group Page with the Caption “I’m beautifully Made!”, and with the
Hashtag “LiteratureisLOVE”. On the Facebook group page, comment an affirmation to
every post of your classmates.
Let’s spread love and positivity!
