An old building, the kind hobos like to squat in. It resembles a horror film. The area is restricted
by police tape, not the normal kind, it’s a hologram.

EXT. An abandoned building - Police investigation - NIGHT

A man in a trench coat with a police badge hanging from the bottom of it, it says MAN, CA
3112. You’d peg him for 40 if you didn’t know better. He’s walking towards the bright Police
tape; it’s a hologram; the area is mostly lit by tape.
MAN
Am I the only officer available in town?
CHIEF OFFICER
This case concerns you
MAN
What do you mean?

INT. The inside of the abandoned building – NIGHT

Bewildered by the Chief's words, MAN scouts the building, He is somehow able to see in the
dark without flashlights, He had cybernetic upgrades. He notices a MASKED MAN fleeing.
MAN
HEY YOU!
He chases the masked figure down a flight of stairs, the masked figure enters a room, the masked
figure is gone but he sees a familiar face laying in the ground, it’s his best friend with a huge cut
open in his stomach.
Zoom into multiple parts of the corpse, fast-paced.
MAN

FADE IN:
EXT. An abandoned building – NIGHT - 3AM
The same old building, Man is distressed and confused.
 MAN
Huh?
INSPECTOR
Detective, are you ok?
MAN
W-where am I, what time is it?
INSPECTOR
It’s 3am, you were dispatched to investigate a murder
MAN rushes to the building, leaps through the flight of stairs and breaks through the door to find
his friend tied to a chair, he turns his eyes to the masked figure with a knife in his hands.
MAN
The hell...?
Air HISSES in the unfastening of the figure’s mask, an illogical sight befalls MAN, it’s as if he
was staring at the mirror, it was him...
MAN
Me...?
As MAN is distracted, the Figure catches Man by surprise and stabs him in the chest.
MAN
Why...? *cough* this doesn’t make sense...
From the corner of MAN’s eyes, he sees the figure murder his friend.
