I have interviewed Mr. Alan for my 2nd interview.

He is almost 60, not as old but still a respected

elder to me. He has given me permission to conduct this interview and agreed to its terms.

For the first question I’d asked him based on the list given, he is very respected among his family
especially his children as they acknowledge what he has done for them throughout his life. He is
given the respect he deserves.

For the second question he said we should respect elders by being polite and helping them out. It
will make them feel very happy and satisfied. If kids could help out at home too it would be greatly
appreciated

He currently still provides for his family, he does outdoor work and helps his family by giving them
advice and helps the kids with their studies when they have doubts. He loves to read books
especially ones from the mystery genre. In his younger days Mr. Alan was passionate about sports
like football and badminton.

He thinks that the government does not help people of an older age, compared to other countries.
The elderly here have to fend for themselves and are not given any privileges when it comes to
health(hospital) and certain benefits unlike some countries have. He feels the government can do
much better compared to what their doing right now.
