ECDIS FAMILIARIZATION CHECK LIST

Please tick the box once the operation of the following has been demonstrated and fully
understood by the student:

1. House Rules
1.1 Do not attempt to restart your equipment in case of any failure
1.2 Make sure you investigate/acknowledge all alarms on ARPA & ECDIS
1.3 Observe the standard house rules set out by the administration
1.3.1 Do not make unwanted noise/storytelling while inside laboratory
1.3.2 Always log-in on attendance logbook and station logs
1.3.3 Do not delete any files on ECDIS not related to your tasks
1.3.4 No Vandalism and damaging to school properties (subject to expulsion)

2. Identify all information panels and functions
