Rule V of the Basic Education Act of 2013 Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR),
stipulates that the Department of Education (DepEd) shall properly assist secondary-level
students in making informed career decisions in order to become productive and contributing
members of society through the conduct of regular career advocacy activities.

In light of this, West Prime Horizon Institute, Inc. would like to partake your Agency’s initiative
in helping secondary-level students in making wise career decisions, thus, the undersigned
respectfully requests your good office's permission to carry out Career Guidance Advocacy
program to all secondary schools in the Division of Zamboanga Del Sur for Grades 10 and 12.

The said Career Guidance will commence in December until the end of the School Year 2022–
2023. This will further aid the students by making them well-informed in choosing their career
path and programs they want to pursue as well as planning their tracks and strands for Senior
High School, choosing their curriculum exits (higher education, employment, entrepreneurship,
and middle-level skills development), and preparation for their future.

Our institution will be beyond pleased to work with the DepEd in order to assist students in
considering their choices and coming to sound decisions that is relevant to their professional
pathways.
