Greetings of peace!
According to Rule V of the Basic Education Act of 2013's Implementing Rules and Regulations,
the Department of Education (DepEd) has a responsibility to properly assist secondary-level
students in making informed career decisions in order to become productive and contributing
members of society through the conduct of regular career advocacy activities.
In light of this, West Prime Horizon Institute, Inc. would like to participate in the initiative and
requests your office's permission to carry out a career guidance advocacy program for all
secondary schools in the Division of Zamboanga Del Sur's grades 10 and 12. The program will
begin in December and last through the end of the school year 2022–2023.This will benefit
students by allowing them to choose the career path and courses they want to pursue.
The school is more than pleased to work with the Department of Education (DepEd). In order to
assist students in considering their options and coming to appropriate judgments that is pertinent
to their professional pathways. These include planning for their track and strand for senior high
school, choosing their curriculum exits (higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and
middle-level skills development), and planning for their future.
Thank you.
Yours truly,
ARIEL S. BINAG
Acting School President
