Situation 2
- In Vince's circumstance, there is a contention between what he accepts
and what he does since Vince thinks it is untrustworthy for Delegate Director Mr.
Simon to arrange a few workers to completely obliterate the design of the police
headquarters working to have their police headquarters revamped. He believes
that if he did that, people would lose faith in the town's government and public
offices, and if they discovered the misconduct, they would hold them
accountable. Vince argues that their police station can be improved without
engaging in immoral conduct. His actions suggest that he intends to defy Mr.
Simon and perform yet another good deed in order to raise funds for the
renovation of the police station.
- Vince was brainwashed by Mr. Simon's remarks. He gave it some more thought
and realized that Mr. Simon, the deputy superintendent, had a point. Because Mr.
Simon is a higher-ranking official than him and obeying Mr. Simon is also
unethical, he reconsiders. Additionally, doing so would be beneficial to the town's
residents as a whole as opposed to just them, which is a dubious proposition.
There are benefits to acting unethically, as depicted in the scenario. How we act
and how we accept responsibility for our actions determine everything. I must
make a sacrifice in this situation. You will still be responsible for dealing with the
consequences even if you choose not to complete either of the two tasks. The
solution with the greatest number of benefits appeals to me.
