There was a merchant named Umar who had three sons.

Because Umar was getting close to death and

was very old, he decided to divide his wealth between Salim, the eldest, Salim, the second, and Judar,
the youngest.

468 at night, the two older brothers informed Judar that their father's fortune had fallen into their
hands to exploit him. However, the judge prohibited the two elder brothers from claiming anything from
Judar, depriving them all of a portion of their inheritance. This continued until all of Judar's possessions
and wealth vanished.

They abused, deceived, and robbed their mother following these events. The mother then began cursing
at her eldest sons as she came to Judar and wept, telling him that she had been stripped of everything
she owned. Judar advised the mother not to curse them because Allah will reward them and he cannot
sue them because all of his money has already been sued.

Judar began his life as a fisherman, earning between 10 and 30 copper pieces per day so that his mother
could eat and drink well. He was able to calm her down and convince her to move in with him. The two
older brothers soon run out of money because they had no idea how to make a living and the money
they stole from their mother vanished quickly. Before their mother, they were naked beggars, but she
still fed her sons as a mother.

Judar unexpectedly came home one night, and his mother bowed her head in shame and confusion.
However, Judar welcomed the brothers warmly and asked them, "What has happened to make you
delight us at last with this eagerly anticipated visit?" The three brothers made amends and spent the
night together.

They ate together the following morning while the two older brothers left the house until noon, when
they came back to eat with their mother once more. Before Judar got home that evening, he was laden
with fisherman's earnings in the form of meat and vegetables. This was how they lived for a month.

467 a.m. One day, Judar threw a net into the river and came back empty, which happened on multiple
occasions. He adjusted his position and threw his net into the new water, but it was empty as before. He
changed once more, but he didn't succeed. Is there no fish in the water, he asked?

When a baker offered him bread to be paid in the event of a catch the next time, he saddenedly walked
home. This occurred once more the following day.

He made the decision to relocate to Lake Karun, which is close to Cairo. He saw a moor coming toward
him on a mule as he began to cast his net. In addition to the man's extravagant attire, the mule that
served as its master was adorned in silk and gold brocade and carried a saddle bag made of colored
linen on its rump.

Then, the moor told Judas to follow him and to throw him into the lake. If his hand comes out first, Judar
will pull him out with a net and bring him to shore, and if his foot comes out first, he says he is dead. The
moor then told Judas to obey him. Judar will then take the mules to the market to search for Shamaiah,
a Jew. He will pay Shamaiah one hundred dinars for the mules and promise to keep the event a secret.
The moor jumped into the water, and in a short amount of time, two feet rose to the surface. Judar
realized that the man had passed away, so he rode the mule to the market to sell the body.

Judar then paid his debt at the baker, and when he got home carrying items for his mother, he found his
brothers starving. Frustrated, they waited for the vegetables to cook before eating bread.

Judar made sure that none of them would be without anything while he was away by giving his mother
the remaining gold the day before he left the house. He went back to Lake Karun and was about to cast
his net when, just as he was about to do so, he noticed a second Moor approaching in much more
expensive clothing. Additionally, the same circumstance arose once more, and this one also passed
away. He now refers to himself as a professional drowner because he sold the mules at the market.

The mother inquires about the source of this gold when he returns home. After that, Judar tells his
mother the whole story, and his mother is afraid that the moors will come after him. However, Judar
tells her that the moors have given their permission for me to throw them into the water, and it is
absurd for me to give up this trade, from which I earn 100 dinars per day.

The third moor arrived on the third day, very similar to the other two, but more beautiful than them in
terms of his attire and mule, and he also had a large glass jar on each side of his saddlebag. Judar's name
is also known to this man.

"Have other moors passed this way?" the third moor inquired. The moor inquired about where they
went after Judar responded, "Two."

Judar was asked to tie up the moor and throw him into the water in the same circumstance. Judar was
surprised when two hands emerged from the water and dragged him to land. He saw that the moor was
holding a coral-red fish in each hand. The moor placed the fish in the glass jars he had brought as soon
as he stood up.

The moor then told his story and introduced himself.

They were three brothers, just like Judar. When their father passed away, the wealth was split between
them, and they got into a fight.

The most significant of these riches was the priceless Book of Eld, which contained the precise location
of every earthly treasure.

However, the sage held this book and said, "My children, you are the sons of my son, and I cannot favor
one before the rest, therefore I decree that the owner of this book shall be he who opens the treasure
of al-Shamardal and brings me the celestial globe, the phial of kohl, and the seal-ring which the hoard
contains." This book was not given to any of the brothers. Instead, it was held by the sage.

These things have incredible capabilities.

The ring is guarded by a Jinni who goes by the terrifying name Thundering Thunder. Anyone who gets
their hands on the ring will be able to use the powers of kings and sultans without hesitation and rule
the entire universe.

With the bright flames that shoot out of the sword, the person who holds it can destroy entire armies.
Any person can travel to any part of the world and see every country in the east and west without
leaving their seat thanks to the Celestial Globe. When he rubs the kohl from the phial on his eyelids, he
can see all the treasures in the earth. All he has to do is touch the spot with his finger, and strange sights
appear as if they were in the same room.

The elder asked the brothers, "Do you accept?" and they responded, "We will try, even at the risk of our
lives!

“There was a fourth brother who refused to accept the mission, and in order to confirm the deaths of
his brothers, he disguised himself as a merchant at the location where Judar was selling the mules.

During the journey, they became hungry and did not see any food in sight. Judar told the moor that he
had forgotten food for the journey, and the moor pulled out a bag and asked Judar what he wanted to
eat. The mother promised to pray for Judar's safety. Judar went home to his mother and gave him
money. The moor began to iterate over a variety of foods and asked Judar if he wanted to eat any of
them after Judar had only mentioned bread and cheese rather than a specific dish.

The moor began individually removing food from the bag after a while.

When they finally arrived at their destination after months of travel, Judar was awestruck by the
plethora of ornaments, the silver lusters, the hanging gold, and the plethora of gems it was studded
with. The moor explained that the bag was an enchanted one that was served by an ifrit and would
provide them with the food they desired. They passed through a lot of towns, and the moor was noticed
because of his status.

The moor then ordered his daughter to bring a certain package, and when the package was placed in his
hand, he pulled out a robe that was at least a thousand dinars in value. He gave it to Judar, telling him to
dress up because he was a welcome guest.

Judar lived with the moor for 20 days, and on the 21st day, the moor came to Judar and told him that it
was time to go outside the city walls together. Two mules and two black slaves appeared and escorted
them to the tent in style. They served 24 dishes from a bag and soon began the magic. The moor then
gave Judar instructions on what to do.

The river's water will gradually recede as I begin to speak my magic over the rising smoke, eventually
completely drying up, leaving the bed exposed.

Then, in the bank's slope, you'll see a gold door as tall as a city gate with two identical metal rings inside.
Tap the door lightly with one of the rings and wait a moment before going up to that door; then wait
once more and knock louder; Last but not least, keep still and loudly knock a third time. A shrill voice
from within will be heard after the third knock: Who knocks on the treasure's door without knowing
how to break the enchantment? When you respond, " I'm Judar, the fisherman's son of Umar in Cairo! A
man holding a sword will appear on the threshold when the door opens. He'll say, " Stretch out your
neck so I can cut off your head if you really are that man.

You must courageously extend it; Because in that case, he will die at your feet as a soulless body even as
he raises the sword above you. There will be no harm to you; However, if you refuse out of fear, he will
undoubtedly kill you. Once the first magic has been broken, go inside, and you'll find a second door that
you have to knock once very loudly on. A rider threatening you with a tall lance will appear almost
immediately on the sill. When he declares: What brought you to this location, where neither Jinni nor
man can stand? You must respond by boldly exposing your breast to the lance's point. The rider will
disintegrate into a soulless corpse at your feet and you will not be harmed. However, he will kill you if
you recoil.

"You will then arrive at a third door, which will be opened by an archer firing an arrow from his bow at
you: He will fall to the ground as a soulless body if you mark him with your breast. However, if you delay,
he will kill you. Continue on, and a terrible lion with wide jaws and the appearance of eating you will
emerge from a fourth door. Without causing you any harm, if you put your hand in his mouth, he will die
at your feet.

‘A negro will knock on the fifth door and inquire about your name. Response: " He'll say, "I'm Judar."

"Try to open the sixth door if you are that man." You must scream at the sixth door: Jesus, tell Moses to
open for me, Moses. The door will open wide, and the right-hand and left-hand dragons will open their
mouths to attack you. You must confidently extend a hand to each; They will roll helpless at your feet
before they can bite. However, your death is certain if you exhibit fear.

After that, you will knock on the seventh door, and your mother will open it for you. She will declare:
Thank you, my son. So that I can wish you peace, come near. You must respond: Dress up and remain
where you are!” She will say, "My child, I am your mother." Because I suckled and educated you, you
owe me respect. Why would you want to strip me naked? You have to scream at her, saying: I will kill
you if you don't take off your clothes! She will try to move your pity when you take down a sword from
the right wall and ask her to start. Be on the lookout for her wheedling and cry each time she takes off
one of her clothes: The remainder, rest! and keep threatening to kill her until she is completely naked.
She will vanish as soon as she runs out of clothes. O Judar, at that point, you will have successfully
removed all enchantments and broken all of the charms without injuring yourself. The only thing left to
do is extract the results of your labor. In order to accomplish this, you must use the seventh door to
enter a hall filled with gold ingots. Don't pay any attention to these; instead, head straight for a small
pavilion with a curtain in the middle of the hall. When the curtain is raised, the great magician al-
Shamardal will be lying in bed on a gold throne. You'll see something round and shining near his head;
that is the planet in space. He will wear the sword around his waist, wear the ring on his finger, and
wear the kohl phial around his neck on a gold chain. Take these four priceless items immediately and
deliver them to me from the treasure room. Be very careful not to ignore or forget any of my
instructions.
So, Judar started the ritual after hearing the instructions. He did everything right up until the last part,
when he said, "I allow you to keep on your drawers," which was the door where his mother was
standing.

The moor then stated, "You did a wrong to me and did a wrong to yourself," and that disobedience is
fatal. We will have to wait until next year to renew our attempt; until then, you will live with me.
Everything is over for this year.

It was the same every day for a whole year.

And the trial was restarted, starting at the first door and working its way up to the last.

"Well done, O judar," the moor retorted, and judar was led to safety.

The magical food bag was presented to Judar as a present.

When Judar returned home, the mother rushed over and informed him that the brothers had once more
stolen the money and had left. The moor advised Judar to never reveal any of their secrets. "Dear
mother, your sufferings are over now that I have returned," Judar declared. Observe, a bag stuffed with
gold and jewels is here; Additionally, our home will not be devoid of food.’

Judar then inquired about his mother's food preferences. Like the moor, the mother mentioned bread,
cheese, and multiple dishes. They also feasted.

The older brothers saw the feast as soon as they entered the house, but Judar still invited them inside,
as did the mother with a kind heart.

Judar demonstrated how the three-course meal was prepared for salim.

Salim and Salim made a plan to steal the bag for themselves. They called Captain Suez and told him that
Judar had betrayed them by sharing the father's wealth and that they had bribed him to get Judar
captured. When Judar didn't fall asleep, Suez brought two sailors along to help with the job. They put a
gag on his mouth, bound his hands and feet, and carried him out of the house into the dark. When
morning came, the mother asked where Judar had gone because he wasn't in his room. Salim and Salim
acted like they didn't know where Judar was. Because the mother was worried about Judar, Salim and
Salim turned on their mother and made her feel bad about it.

The King ordered Salim and Salim to be taken from their homes the following morning and thrown into a
torture chamber to force them to confess their crimes. The two brothers were taken into the dungeon
as soon as the King realized what was going on.

The king kept the two bags for himself and gave Judar's mother a pension to help her pay for her day-to-
day expenses.

Judar had already been working as an oar slave for a year on a ship owned by the captain of Suez. When
the ship hit rocks, Judar swam to shore and walked inland until he found a camp of wandering Arabs
who offered him work. After that, they made it to Mecca. In order to complete the seven ritual circles
around the sacred Kaabah enclosure, Judar hurriedly joined the procession.
Judar wept a lot as he related the story to the Arabs and Moor. After that, Judar received a robe and his
own house.

The moor gave judar the ring that was part of al-Shamardal's treasure before they left Mecca. The ring
was used to summon the Jinni Thundering Thunder. The jinni will do anything and everything
commanded if Judar rubs the bezel.

When Judar wanted to go back to his home country, the Jinni flew over his mother's house, set him
down, and then vanished. Judar then asked the Jinni to get his brothers out of the prison. When the
Jinni saw the brothers, Judar said, "All greetings, O Salim, and Salim! Do you remember me? Do you
know who I am?

Both salim and salim broke down in tears.
