    Dear Sir/Madam,

    In reference to the sample report submitted by your firm, as per the instructions, please
    find the following comments for Design and Build of Nalgaad Khola, Bheri Corridor, Jajarkot
    (Contract no: BBPCU-DB-337011324-076/77-22).

    General:
    1. Please also include the survey report carried out for this bridge.
    Geotechnical/Hydrological Analysis:
    2. Please verify discharge and scour depth calculation with hydrological guidelines
    issued by DoR.
    3. Please include averaged weighted diameter calculation sheet for scour depth
    calculation.
    4. Please also calculate the scour depth by various method such as Blench’s method
    etc. as mentioned in the guidelines.
    5. Please provide the formula that is used for calculation of bearing capacity from
    settlement. Also include calculation sheet for adopted size of foundation.
    Design:
    6. Please carried out the construction stage analysis such as only abutment being
    constructed.
    7. Please also include the calculation for expansion gap.
    8. Please provide explanation for taking given seismic coefficient.
    9. Please provide design calculation report for sub structure.
    Drawings:
    10. Please include sequences of construction in the design drawing.
    11. Please also include the drawing of expansion joints and design parameter of bearing
    in drawing.
    12. Please check (if necessary) the reinforcement need to updated if value of load

    13. Other comments are shown in the drawings / design report. Please verify.
