Bidya: is there anything i can help you? (ada yang bisa saya bantu)

sebagai karyawan rumah sakit)

Bidya: oh ok please wait. (oh baik silahkan di tunggu)

Five minutes later…..

Bidya : Mrs. Melisa is ready to interview you now. ( Ny.Melisa siap mewawancarai Anda
sekarang.)

Prasya : Oh oke thankyou.(Oh iya terima kasih)

Melisa : Hello, Good morning. I am Mrs.Melisa and I will be the one interviewing you today.
Are you ready? (Halo.

Prasya : Of course. Good morning, sir. How are you? (Tentu saja. Selamat siang, pak. Apa
kabar anda?)

Melisa : I’m good thank you. Lets start with the most basic question. Could you tell me a
little bit about youself ? (Saya baik-baik saja, terima kasih. Mari mulai dengan pertanyaan
paling mendasar. Bisakah anda memberitahu saya sedikit mengenai diri anda sendiri?)

Prasya : Of course. I graduated from Poltekkes Kemenkes of Indonesia with Medical

Laboratory Technology in 2012. I have been working at a local hospital for six years as
medical laboratory technologist and enjoying every second of it. Other than my career, I am
also active in a non-profit organization called Call Medical Laboratory Technology which
helps people who cannot afford to check their blood type and diabetes. (Tentu saja. Saya
lulus dari Poltekkes Kemenkes Indonesia fakultas Tekonologi Laboratorium Medis pada
tahun 2012.

Melisa : So you love being a Medical Laboratory Technology? Why did you first that you
wanted to be a Medical Laboratory Technology? ((Jadi Anda suka menjadi Ahli Tekonologi
Laboratorium Medis?
Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medis?)

Prasya : That's right, I really like being a Medical Laboratory Technologist. I've actually
wanted to be a doctor since elementary school. I got severe typhoid when I was in 6th grade
and had to be in the hospital for a few days. The doctors there were very caring and it made
me feel stronger even though I was sick. But when I was in high school, I realized that the
one who researched me for typhus was an expert in Medical Laboratory Technology, it
turned out that they were the ones who helped doctors to diagnose a person's disease. I want
to be a person who helps patients even though I work behind a doctor. (Benar, saya sangat
suka menjadi ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medis. Saya sebenarnya telah bercita-cita menjadi
Dokter sejak SD.
Saya ingin menjadi
orang yang membantu pasien pasien walaupun bekerja dibelakang dokter.

Melisa : Okay. You also stated that you have worked for 6 years as a Medical Laboratory
Technologist. During your experience, have you ever encountered a patient who was
dissatisfied with your performance?.(Baiklah. Anda juga mengatakan bahwa Anda telah
bekerja selama 6 tahun sebagai Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medis. Selama pengalaman

Prasya : Of course. I'm sure that's a normal thing to encounter in this job. But I'm trying to
assess what went wrong. Maybe they are like that because of their own problems, or maybe
because of me. If it's because of me, I will reflect on myself and try to be more understanding
to my patients. (Tentu saja.

Melisa : Okay. So, last question. Tell us why we should hire you? (Baiklah. Pertanyaan
terakhir, beritahu kami kenapa kami harus mempekerjakan Anda?)

Prasya : I am sure that I can contribute a lot to your hospital and that all my energy and
attention will be very much focused on researching patients and helping doctors. (Saya yakin

Melisa : Alright. That’s about it. Do you have any question? (Baiklah. Itu saja. Apakah Anda
punya pertanyaan?)

Prasya : Maybe I would just like to ask about the work hours? (Mungkin saya hanya ingin
tahu mengenai jam kerjanya?)

Melisa : Here the working hours are with shifts. So there are 4 changes, morning, afternoon,
evening and night. Your shift of working hours will be rotated every week, (Di sini jam
Pergantian
jam kerja Anda akan diputar setiap minggu)

Prasya : Understood. Thank you so much for having me. (Saya mengerti. Terima kasih
banyak telah mengundang saya)

Melisa : You’re welcome. We will let you know the result by the end on this week. Have a
good day. (Sama-sama. Kami akan memberitahu hasilnya akhir pekan ini. Semoga hari Anda
menyenangkan.)
