Background of the Study

Introduction
Academic achievement and physical exercise are favorably correlated, however it's
difficult to understand association. This longitudinal study investigated the amount and direction
of the throughout youth and students, there are correlations between recreational physical
exercise and academic success.

There is proof that regular physical activity is essential for both maintaining psychological
and physical health. It has been hypothesized that exercise has advantageous effects on learning
and cognitive function.

Many young people view their free time as a special opportunity to exercise. This study
intends to investigate potential relationships between physical activity engagement and academic
achievement by the end of the school year.

The relationship between physical activity and academic achievement has been assessed in
a number of review articles. In several of these reviews, however, no pooled effect sizes have
been estimated.

When free time reaches the optimal level (5813 hours), it has a compensating effect on work
and can boost labor productivity; however, when free time exceeds the optimal value, it
substitutes for work and can lower labor productivity.

Although you would be expected to put in more hours, 54 hours a week is roughly
equivalent to 80 hours a week in terms of productivity. Additionally important for developing
flashes of insight and novel ways of thinking is leisure time, according to (Leon Ho, n.d)
Improved problem solving, a stronger work ethic, and increased creativity are all benefits of
leisure and playtime. Quality leisure time has also been proved to benefit physical health, mental
health, and quality of life on a broader scale, outside the context of work performance.

Recreation or having time to rest is very important for a student because it is a way to not
have anxiety or depression and by experience, I become more productive when I have a rest even
just for one day after a lot of work or activities at school and if I'm doing a project or assignment
at home, after I finish a project, activity or assignment, I rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour and look
into the distance and go outside to get some fresh air to refresh my brain and body and after that,
the activities, projects or assignments will continue again, so I become mass productive when I
have time to rest even just for an hour or have fun for just a day.

It's preferable to unwind or reflect on life because you never know whether someone is
struggling. There are people who won't say or don't say anything for the problem because they
are humiliated or want to keep the problem to themselves since it makes them feel more
comfortable. You need time for myself to talk to so that you don't think too much about other
problems.

Statement of the Problem

There is a conflict on how productivity affects the students in their free time, somehow there
is also have a conflict for not having a free time in their productivity.

This study to know the answer on the following questions:

1. Do they do more in their free time?

2. When they have spare time, do they put in more effort on their schoolwork?

3. Do they prefer to engage in outdoor activities or use technology during downtime?

4. Why do students complete their assignments at school if they have leisure time?
5. How productive they are despite having little spare time

Academic achievement and physical exercise are favorably correlated however the It's
difficult to understand association. This longitudinal study investigated the amount and
direction of thadulthood, there are correlations between recreational physical exercise and
academic success.
