9. Give 5 Brands of Solar Panels listed in TIER1 list
10. What is TIER1 list?

Answer.

1. Current is the flow rate of how the electrical charges travel from one node to another. On
the other hand, voltage is the force that pushes these charges on moving from one point to
another.

2. Photovoltaic is the process of harvesting and generating electrical energy using photons
specifically sunlight.

3. The typical measurement of a single solar cell is one inch wide and one inch long

4. A solar cell produce 0.5 V

5. Upon harvesting wattages on the solar panels, we could not utilize all of it. Only its
fifteen to twenty percent were used for generation. We could also find effiency by
divding output over input.

6. Fifteen to twenty percent

7. Monocrystalline silicon, Polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, gallium arsenide,

cadmium telluride

8. Polycrystalline is more jagged with many crystals. It is more the natural way of silicons
to be arranged in a mixed way. Polycrystalline is more of a uniformed structure. All
layers and touches are balanced.

9. Sunpower, LG solar, REC group, Jinko solar, LONGi

10. Tier 1 list, is a list of solar brands which has the highest ratings.
