During 40 years of professional technical experience remained actively involved in teaching & research, particularly
the higher education as well as in administration of university.
Administrative and Financial Management Experience (30 Years):
• Being Head/Chairman of the different departments, Dean of Faculties, Administrator controller of department,
Chairman of different university committees, Project Director for development projects and Principal of the
University College have vast and rich experience in the Administrative & Financial Management
• Played a pivotal role in the different committees for resources generation, allocation and mobilization as well as
played a pioneer role in the mobilization and transforming the modest University College Taxila to the level of
the full‐fledged Engineering University and worked as last Principal of the former College.
• Have prominent leadership qualities for formulating the methods, procedures and policies for the smooth
Management of University affairs and along with worked as Project Director for Strengthening of Laboratories of
Transportation Engineering & Structural Engineering Division (2003 to 2004) HEC funded Project of 40 Million.
• Recently, I have worked as Project Directors for Strengthening and Up‐Gradation of University of Engineering &
Technology Taxila and its Sub‐Campus. (2013 to Feb 2015) HEC funded Project of 785 Million, Construction of
Water Tanks and Allied Work at Main Campus UET, Taxila (2013-2015) Project of 41.85 Million and
Construction of Sewerage Disposal System and Water Filtration Plant (04 Nos.) at Main Campus UET, Taxila
(2013 -2015) HEC funded Project of 30.90 Million.
• Actively contributed in the preparation and checking of the following PC‐I’s for the development of University
PC‐1 for the Urgent Needs of University. E/Cost RS. 19.760 Million

Post Graduate Teaching and Research Experience
• Having vast and rich experience of teaching to Engineering students at post graduate level since 1995
• Supervised Four Ph.D Research projects and four awarded Ph.D degree. Currently, two scholars are working on
Ph.D research.
• Supervised more than 90 research projects of post graduate MS.c level. These research projects cover a wide
range of topics in Civil Engineering and particularly Structural Engineering. The nature of research is
experimental supported by analytical techniques in order to meet the needs of the construction industry,
government agencies. The Students were awarded Master Degree. Presently supervising 13 M.Sc research
projects.
• Maintained highly scholastic level in teaching by constantly engaging with innovation and research activities and
attended National and International conferences sponsored by Pakistan Science Foundation. Higher Education
Commission and University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila at the same time many research papers were
presented/ published in different International conferences & Journals at national as well as international Level.
• Have Foreign Teaching experience as visiting professor in University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
• Received Best Teacher award from Higher Education Commission in 2002 as token of highly devoted and
professionally sound teacher. At the same time received Cash Prize of Rs. 15000 from HEC for writing a book for
Engineering students. Also received KEN FRANCIS AWARD 2006 for presenting a paper in a conference at
Singapore and Engineer Day award May 28, 2007 from Institution of Engineer Pakistan. (See Annex – G for
details).
