FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

In this chapter, the researcher presents and describes the students' score clearly. This chapter covers
research finding and discussion. In research findings, the researcher puts in and shows all of the data
that can be used to analyze using computer software, while in discussion section, the researcher
provides a brief discussion of the findings.

4.1 Research Findings

In this part, the researcher presents and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data. All of the
quantitative data are analyzed using computer software namely Statistical Package for the Social
Sciences (SPSS) version 16, while qualitative data are conducted after quantitative data are
collected. As stated in the previous chapter, there were some steps to analyze quantitative data,
using statistical analysis such as the researcher presented the result of students pre-test from both
classes, post-test from both classes, parametric statistics consisting of the assumption of normal
distribution, homogeneity, and also independent group T-test, while in qualitative data, the
researcher used list of questions to interview three students in each class as representative.
