Job Purpose • Coordinate activities in respect to Offshore Structures (i.e. Topsides, Jackets,
Decks, Bridges, Brownfield Modifications) detailed design, technical and
execution definition, procurement, installation and testing/commissioning.
Review project technical requirements and ensure compliance with project
requirements.
Internal
• Regularly interfaces and collaborates with NFPS Compression EPC2
Engineering team.
• Frequent contact with Operations, HSEQ and Engineering within Qatargas.
External
• Continuous interaction with EPC contractor and associated vendors, and
subcontractors.
• Infrequent engagement with Shareholder representatives.
Job Context & • Implements the delivery of Offshore Structures detailed design, risk-based
Major evaluation of complex technical issues, ensuring detailed design deliverables

quality expectations. Coordinates the delivery (content and timing) of
offshore structures deliverables in accordance with project requirements
from EPC Contractor.

1. Coordinate the activities of the EPC contractors, vendors and subcontractors, as required, to
ensure quality assurance and production timing of the Offshore Structures deliverables is in
accordance with the approved project execution schedule and budget.
2. Analyse technical attachments and scope description of all structures related purchase orders to
ensure compliance with scope description in related contracts.
3. Ensure Offshore Structures engineering design is in accordance with the project's change
management program and consistent with the Offshore Structures engineering schedule and
critical milestones (LLI procurement, engineered equipment procurement; ROS dates, etc.);
steward recovery plans to address any schedule delays and resolution of Contractor’s
engineering claims, if any.
4. Supply previous lessons learned knowledge to enhance project performance and ensure that
current project lessons learned are captured for future reference.
6. Cooperate with review teams and support post-audit activities with respect to contract
administration and subcontracting.
Part B: Person Specification – Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and/or Experience • 15 years’ overall experience, 10 years’ relevant experience with 5
years in a Lead Structural engineering level with overall
responsibility for engineering execution of large topsides projects
(>20,000t). Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards,
specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, offshore facilities
and structure design, construction, operations, and engineering

3. HEAD of PROCESS
Job Description Highlights:
• During FEED/EPC execution the position is responsible for verifying the design and process engineering
deliverables developed by Engineering Contractor
Major challenges for this role are (1) effectively managing FEED/EPC Contractor and Process
Engineering team to deliver technical input in accordance with project requirements (2) maintaining
constructive working relationships with FEED/EPC Contractor, its subcontractors and vendors to
ensure delivery of work scope in accordance with project requirements and (3) maintaining
relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations and SHE and Quality) to ensure alignment of Process
Engineering deliverables.
Job Purpose • Responsible for overseeing CO2 Sequestration Project FEED/EPC Contractor
in delivery of all aspects of Process design and technical and execution
definition, including planning and execution of detailed design, procurement,
installation, testing and commissioning. Ensures technical requirements (e.g.
project specifications, data sheets etc.) developed and implemented during
FEED/EPC, fully comply with project requirements and through effective
collaboration and interfaces ensures process design considers for full
production life cycle.

2. Directs the preparation and stewardship of Process engineering scope of work in FEED/EPC contract,
advice and recommends design procedures, processes deliverables and alternative studies, as
required, to optimize project cost and schedule.
3. Maintains close liaison with members of Engineering Team and alignment with the Engineering
Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
4. Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with Qatargas
Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct and Qatargas Project Management System
(QGPMS).
6. Assesses and validates FEED/EPC Contractor capability in providing all contract documents,
progress measurement and reporting and recommends additional technical support to address
gaps.

8. Leads the Master Data Register (MDR) including creation and approval and owns the planning and
scheduling of the Process deliverables to enable efficient project execution.

for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.

applicable.

the approved scope, budget, and schedule. Ensures technical requirements such as project
specifications, data sheets, procedures, etc. developed during EPC fully comply with project
requirements and executed in the field.

7. Job Purpose:
• Support preparation of ITT packages and coordinate tender process with QG Supply,
PMT and QG Legal.
• Participate in the preparation and tendering of the EPC Contract.

with respect to acceptability of Contract Terms and Conditions.
