1. JOB PURPOSE
To plan, organize, and execute Product development & enhancement initiatives pertaining
to Consumer & Staff Finance products as per Business requirements from time to time.
Perform any other official tasks assigned by the line management in a timely and
satisfactory manner.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

To organize and execute Consumer & Staff Finance product development
initiatives for the aforesaid domain in line with overall business / organizational

objectives while keeping in view prevalent market. Shari’ah and regulatory
conditions.
To design, develop & coordinate for launch of new products as well as new
2 initiatives within existing Consumer & Staff Finance products in collaboration with 15%
internal and external stakeholders.
To gather market info on competitor Islamic banks with regards to Consumer &

Staff Finance products.
To assist Business and Marketing functions in finalizing branding, marketing, and
4. promotions related to Consumer Finance products. 7.50%

To develop / update customer-end / legal documentation of Consumer & Staff

5. Finance products in coordination with relevant stakeholders 12.50%

To develop / update product programs / manuals in relation to Consumer & Staff

6. finance products, keeping in view the overall business requirements and 12.50%
regulations.
To act as intermediary between Shari’ah Compliance Department and other
7. functions in order to assist them in resolving any Shari’ah related issues in relation 10%
to Consumer & Staff Finance products.
Impart Consumer Finance products related trainings for Business as well as other
8. relevant functions within the Bank in coordination with HR. 10%
Assist line management in various assigned official tasks (e.g. managing audits,
inspections, administrative work, etc.) as well as perform any other official tasks

3. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

 At least Masters or equivalent educational qualification.
Knowledge and Skills:  Preferably accustomed with the branch / retail banking industry
and practices.
 Good communication and presentation skills.
At least 5 years of overall work experience with at least 2 years of
Experience Profile: banking industry experience in business or product development /
management role with regards to retail banking.
 Effective coordination skills.
 Ability to drive initiatives on a cross-functional basis.
Behavioural
 Effective team / people management skills.
