of this part where it was about child’s right and protection. Since it was broad, he was only
choosing important part of the topic to explained so he was able to use the time available.
Many provisions of the law were considered in the child’s right and protection. He also gave
attention to the difference of layman and professional and the historical role of the education.
Since the title depicts the child protection speaker discussed the child abuse act and how much

Because of the heavy topic to be discuss, after about an hour of presenting ideas and
explanations regarding the webinar topic, Mr. Sherwin B. Paredes, the speaker requested to
have a short water break. And to avoid boredom while in break, the technical team re-play the

regarding this was "Is there an exact formula of Positive Discipline?". He shared his thoughts

Discipline is about on how to gain cooperation in a positive way, not involving corporal
punishment, instead some sort of motivation. In addition, this takes a lot of consideration and
strategies to handle various students' behavior.

and an Authority; Democratic in a way that students feel that they are free to share their thoughts
and ideas; Empathy to undertand students' situation; Reassuring that everyone is accepted; and
Reinforcing the role of a teacher as a facilitator who helps students with different intelligences.
