CHEILOSIS, STOMATITIS, GLOSSITIS

Cheilosis

- Cheilosis is a condition where the

corners of the mouth become
inflamed, which can lead to
cracking and pain at the corners of
the mouth. The cracks can split
and bleed; they can also make it
difficult to yawn, chew, or talk.

Stomatitis

- Stomatitis is swelling and redness

of the lining of your mouth. It can
cause painful sores that can make
it hard for you to eat, drink, or
swallow.
Glossitis

- Glossitis is a problem in which the

tongue is swollen and inflamed.
This often makes the surface of the
tongue appear smooth. Glossitis
may cause the small bumps on the
surface of the tongue (papillae) to
disappear.
