Essential Question: How do you think these questions help you to clarify your values?

Read the following questions, reflect on them and answer them. Be as honest as you can with yourself.

1. Who am I?
I am a person who sometimes feels tired but I am someone privileged because I have someone to trust like
God, thank God I have all the peace I need, and thanks to that I am a good person, who likes harmony

2. What are my core beliefs (e.g., about life, about love, about humans, about Earth, about
the sacred/divine, about…?)
As a weak and sinful person, I believe that there is a creator who is God, because I have seen his purpose in
me and in my life, all I look at is a land full of good people and bad people. I think that all people need
something. or someone who complements a void that all human beings have.

3. What are my core values? (e.g., peace, wealth, happiness, love, family, fame, truth,
power, justice, security…)
I believe and know that love is the main value in all areas of life, and above all peace and what I love is trust
and empathy, because a human being needs to know different life experiences to win them and obtain more
values such as respect, integrity, friendship and tranquility.

4. What sources informed my beliefs and values in my early childhood?

Well actually I grew up surrounded by people who believe in God, but the truth is I was not attracted to that
but I realized that sometimes we need to fall very low to realize what we really want and want as I want to
serve and worship God.

5. What sources inform my beliefs and values today?

Actually, the only source I need is God because I am nobody without him and all I have is for him and I have
never felt alone, his word is one of my sources.

6. What, if anything, has changed about my core beliefs and values from childhood through
today?

The truth is that the only thing that has changed in me is my spiritual maturity and my way of tolerating
different people, since I have grown up with people who guide me on a good path to success with the hand
of God.

7. What now do I want most?

What I want the most is to improve myself and be a Daughter of God and be an example for the children of
the church, having an excellent job and excellent education, that is why I want to graduate from the best
university in Honduras to be an example of patience and effort to children.

8. How can I serve? What do I see as my life purpose?

I can serve this world by being one of the best and exemplary people, because life turns around, my purpose
is to help and serve people in need, because in them I can found a future and a life entered into God.
