INTO PASSIVE VOICE
Examples:
a) He can buy peaches.
>> Peaches can be bought by him.
b) Tim may throw the ball very far.
>> The ball may be thrown by Tim very far.
c) This laptop should bring a manual.
>> A manual should be brought by this laptop.
PASSIVE VOICE:
Past Modals
In this case, we have the modal(+)have(+)past participle structure.
Examples:
a) I could have called the manager.
>> The manager could have been called by me.
b) Sharon should have won the award.
>> The award should have been won by Sharon.
c) She would have told the kids.
>> The kids would have been told by her.
PASSIVE VOICE:
Verb(+)to
In this case, we have the want/need/have(+)to structure.
Examples:
a) Mary has to visit her parents.
>> Her parents have to be visited by Mary.
b) The editor will need to check the books.
>> The books will need to be checked by the editor.
c) George wanted to see his parents.
>> His parents wanted to be seen by George.
