Greetings!

On behalf of the 1st and 2nd year BSTM and BSHM students enrolled in the courses Introduction
to Meeting Incentives, Conferences and Events Management and Tour Planning,Packaging, and
Pricing, and Philippine Culture and Tourism Geography. We are inviting you in a webinar
entitled “Tourism and Hospitality Industry Revamp: Bracing up with Strategic Responses for
the Future and Beyond”. This will be held on the 13th of June 20 22, Monday, at 9:00 AM.

One of the resource persons is Mr. Roberto Z. Zozobrado, the Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel
Association (PATA) Philippine Chapter. He is also a Board Member of the Tourism Congress of
the Philippines, the Israel Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Industry Board Foundation,
Inc. (TIBFI). During his talk, he will provide various insights on the new reality in tourism and
hospitality industry and how various stakeholders may prepare with the strategic responses and
embrace these changes for a better tourism in the future and beyond.

Another resource speaker is the Branch Head of Hertz Philippines in Bohol, who was a former
crew trainer of Amerikana-Qatar Food Company and is an accredited Tour Guide of the
Department of Tourism. He is Mr. Rod Andrian C. Bagor, who will share his insights in relation
to actual sustainable tourism development projects in the Philippines.
