Lesson aims:
 to teach pupils how to describe themselves and others(appearance, colour hair/ eyes)
 to give practice in describing self.
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to…
 recognize and use minimal vocabulary related to describing people;
 understand and carry on a task based on the topic (colouring dictation)
Language practice: vocabulary related to describing people (tall/ short; thin/ chubby; hair; eyes)
Functions:
 asking/ answering questions;
 describing people;
 expressing likes and dislikes.
Skills covered: listening, speaking
Assumed knowledge: Some pupils recognize words and simple structures.
Anticipated problems:
 some pupils could have problems in understanding words;
 some pupils could work slowly;
 some pupils won’t repeat after the teacher.
