subject UBM 599. So, this video was about my presentation, Crowdsourcing Platform Poster.
So, this is my poster Digital Crowdsourcing Platform or Profiling Infographic.
Firstly, I am going to explain about registration in Crowdsourcing. I have registered in Five
crowdsourcing platform which is Freelancer.com, Labor X, LinkedIn, ODeskwork, and Job
Street.
Secondly, I am going to explain about my registration in gateway paypal which I register for
my online payment.
Thirdly, is about summary of Bids. In this part, I will explain on how many bids, project and
contest that I have join and what type of platform that I used for bidding.
Fourth Is about amount of income earned. In this part I am going to elaborate on why I did
not get any income even I already join so many bids project and contest.
Fifth is about project awarded. I am going to talk on why did not get job awarded on all
platform that I have registered,
Next is I am going to explain about star rating that I get based on all project and contest that
I have done through out the platform that I used.
Lastly, I am going to further explain about Swot Analysis based on my experienced in using
crowdsourcing. So, I am going explain each part, what is My Strength, weakness,
Opportunity, and Threat in crowdsourcing.
So, let begin my presentation with the first part which is my registration in Crowdsourcing.

But before I start on the first part, let me first explain what is crowdsourcing.
Crowdsourcing is the distribution of well-defined tasks to a large group of anonymous
external network users or known as digital workers in the form of open call through internet
specific applications which is platform
These tasks can be completed under flexible circumstances –which is on their own time and
locations
using internet connected devices such as mobile phones, smart phones, and tablets
For non-digital tasks, digital worker
might require other appropriate tools.
For example, of crowdsourcing platform are freelancer, laborX, LinkedIn, ODeskwork, and
Job Street
So, first part is my experience in registration in crowdsourcing. This is the part that I am
going to show you that there is 5 platform that I have register. As I said a moment ago, the
platfrom that I used is freelancer.com , laborX, LinkedIn, ODeskwork, and Job Street

This is list of my registration stated with link for each platform.

On the top is Freelancer.com, second is LaborX, third is LinkedIn, Fourth is OdeskWork, and
lastly Jobstreet.

This is the first platform, Freelancer. Com, Freelancer is an Australian freelance marketplace
website, which allows potential employers to post jobs that freelancers can then bid to
complete. Freelancer is a marketplace where employers and employees are able to find
each other. The site allows employers to post work for site members who place bids in a
competitive tender process. The site also allows members to host and enter contests for
which prize money is offered as a reward. Freelancers and employers develop profiles on
the site as they offer, win and complete work and write and receive reviews of people they
work with or for.
The second platform is LaborX. "LaborX is a global recruitment platform that connects
individuals with work opportunities, wherever they are based in the world, and enables
them to get paid in crypto. The software offers efficient transactions and robust protections
for both parties." LaborX is a blockchain jobs platform that helps clients and freelancers
connect, providing efficient transactions and robust protections through smart contracts -
wherever you're based.

Third platform is Linked In. Linked in is an American business- and employment-oriented

online service that operates via websites and mobile apps. This platform is primarily used for
professional networking and career development and allows job seekers to post their CVs
and employers to post jobs. LinkedIn allows members (both workers and employers) to
create profiles and "connect" with each other in an online social network which may
represent real-world professional relationships. Members can invite anyone (whether an
existing member or not) to become a "connection". LinkedIn can also be used to organize
offline events, join groups, write articles, publish job postings, post photos and videos, and
more.

The second last platform is Odeskwork. oDesk Work is an online portal & provides
freelancer service both for project hunters and project provider. In Odeskwork, user can act
2 roles as an employer or a freelancer. Employers can post projects and find the suitable
freelancer to work their projects while Freelancers can find their jobs.
Last platform that I have register is Jobstreet. This platform features a job matching for
jobseekers and a job posting platform. also provides other online recruitment products and
services

Next is registration is Gateway paypal. Paypal is a multinational financial technology

company operating an online payments system in the majority of countries that support
online money transfers .The company operates as a payment processor for online vendors,
auction sites and many other commercial users, for which it charges a fee. PayPal's services
allow people to make financial transactions online by granting the ability to transfer funds
electronically between individuals and businesses. Through PayPal, users can send or
receive payments for online auctions on websites like eBay, purchase or sell goods and
services, or donate money or receive donations.
In order to complete my account, I need to register my online payment which using paypal
and link it with all my crowdsourcing platform which is freelancer, laborX, LinkedIn,
ODeskwork, and Job Street. This is my profile account that I already register. This to ensure
that transaction and payment can be withdrawn by using this account.
This is my summary of bids. I have joined 38 CONTEST AND 12 projects, and the total bids
are 50. Most of by bids are from the platfrom of freelancer, LaborX and Odeskwork. As new
freelancer, these 3 platforms are easy to use and it is suitable for a beginner to create their
starter career and gain experience. Most of my type of jobs are creating, designing, art,
cover book, logos, banner and Microsoft.
This is my evidence of my bids of Contest and project that I participated.

Technically, I did not get any income through out all platform. None of my contest and
project were selected.
Unfortunately, I also did not get any project rewarded. As I am new in this industry and just
started my career as a freelancer, so it is normal for not being able to get any reward. But
soon, hopefully as I just keep on going doing this job, I would get a reward and income.

For star rating, there is 7 bids that have being rated. 2 of it were only rate 1 star, 2 bids have
rated 2 star, and 3 bids have 3-star rating.

And there 2 bids that have been rate with 3 star rating.
The last part is about Swot analysis based on my experienced in using Crowdsourcing which
is strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat that I have develop it as a freelancer.
Strength it increases my communication skill as I communicated with people globally and
also increases my expertise in using Microsoft, canva,com and more websites.
The weakness is about risks, it is quite high risk, we not even know whether we got the bids
or not, and we mostly just expose our design, project and so on globally. There is a risk that
it could be stollen and our data were taken. Our weakness is also about lack of confidence,
were too scared for not being selected. And afraid of our design or project are not able to
satisfy our client

Opportunity about being a freelancer is we can enhance and develop new skills. We also
have controls on our working our which is more flexible.
And lastly threat is basically about competitors scammers and cyberbully. As we all know
this platform are international, so there is a lot of people that were apply for the same
project and contest. There are too many competitors. scammers, sometimes we don’t really
know that project that we were apply were valid or not, it is better to take a high precaution
to avoid scammers. online is famous with cyberbully, there is just so many toxic people that
would likely to bring us down especially our competitors
