FOREWORD

All praise and thanks we offer the presence of God Almighty. Because of his blessings, grace

and gifts and miracles, we were able to finish writing the interview report of the Legend of

"Baturusa Village". In particular, we would like to thank the resource persons, namely, Mr.

Iswanto, and Mrs. Eni Anggreni, S.pd as our guiding teachers who have been patient, took

the time, volunteered their energy and thoughts and also paid attention in providing assistance

during the process of writing this report.

The purpose of writing the report is to fulfill the assignment from Ms. Eni Anggreni, S.pd.

Not only that, this report is also written so that future generations will know the Legend of

"Baturusa Village".

We really hope for constructive criticism and suggestions from readers so that improvements

can be made, hopefully this Report can be even better and useful for readers.

CHAPTER 1

PRELIMINARY

A. Background

A genre of folklore consisting of narratives featuring human actions that are believed or

believed by the narrator and listeners as a true story that once happened.

The legend of "BatuRusa" that we will write about so that this legend does not disappear.

Because many younger generations don't like to find out about legends.

B. Problem Formulation

Based on the background that we have typed, there are several problem formulations as

follows:

1. How did the Legend of BatuRusa Village originate?

2. What is the moral of the story Batu Rusa Legend?

C. Purpose and Objectives

Our purpose in conducting this interview is to complete the task given to us by our mentor,

Mrs. Eni Anggreini. And we want this story to be known to more people so that the story of

the Legend of BatuRusa will continue to exist.

D. Time and place

We conducted this interview on October 30, 2022, on Sunday, at the house of the traditional

head of BatuRusa Village, namely Mr. Iswanto, who is in BatuRusa Village, Merawang

District, Bangka Regency.

DEER STONE LEGEND WRITING INTERVIEW


A. Data Collection Methods

The method we used was interviews. We only interviewed one resource person, namely Mr.

Iswanto, because according to him if we interviewed residents of BatuRusa Village it would

be in vain because these residents would ask questions that we asked Pak Iswanto himself.

We were able to conduct this interview because The location of the interview is close to

where we live.

B. Data Processing Method

From the data we have obtained, we can process the data as follows:

Question 1:

How did the Legend of BatuRusa Village originate?

Answer 1:

Where used to be in this village, the husband and wife lived peacefully and kindly, so the

wife told the husband to hunt the deer because his wife was craving deer until the next day,

the husband went to hunt deer in the Baturusa River, where from morning to noon he had not

found a deer until in the afternoon it just appeared It was a deer, but the husband was so

excited about targeting the deer that a traveler named “Sepait Tongue” was called “Sepait

Tongue” The husband did not answer because he was so excited about stalking the deer that it

came from the mouth of Sepait Tongue, which later became Baturusa, at that moment the

husband turned into Baturusa.

What is the moral message contained in the BatuRusa story?

The story describes the love of a husband for his wife so that he obeys his wife's orders and is

willing to sacrifice for the sake of his wife.

The story of Batu Deer was where there used to be a husband and wife in this village until the

wife told the husband to hunt the deer because his wife had cravings until the next day the

husband went to hunt deer in the Batu Deer River where from morning to noon he had not

found a deer until In the afternoon, a deer just appeared, but the husband was so busy

targeting the deer that the wanderer whose name was the wanderer, Bitter Tongue, was called

by the husband, did not answer because he was preoccupied with stalking the deer, until it

came from the mouth of Bitter Tongue, later it became a Deer Stone instantly. it turned into a

rock that was in the shape of a deer. The story of the stone deer continued with the Wife and

waited until the afternoon. The husband did not go home. River so that the wife is annoyed

and disappointed if the answer is like that. I also want to be a rock so that when the wife turns

into a rock that is in the River Batu deer whose name is Stone Water.

CLOSSING

A. Conclusion

The story of Baturusa Village is called Baturusa Village because there is a statue that looks

like a deer in the village. The statue is the embodiment of a human who was cursed to

become a stone in the shape of a deer by a traveler known as "Sepait Lidah".

B. Suggestion

It is hoped that more will be developed regarding the story and origins of Baturusa Village.

In addition, with the existence of reports that have been made in modern times, it is hoped

that the community can appreciate the meaning contained in the legend of Batu Rusa Village

as it has a moral message contained in it.
