Currently, children under the age of 15 in the Philippines are exempt from
criminal liability, but subject to intervention by the government under the
provisions of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006.

Instructions

1. Assign 3 speaker and researchers. Decide who will be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd speakers.

2. Researchers have to do some research on the 10 reasons why you are in favor or
against the motion. These 10 reasons should be written in a word document. Submit
not later than January 30, 2023 @ 12:00NN via private message.

3. Teams should also prepare 10 questions for the other team’s reasons.

4. Group 2 Pro and Con Teams will be the jurors of Group 1, vice versa.

5. The Debate is scheduled on February 4, 2023.

Group 1 Resolution: May mungkahi na ibaba mula sa 15 taong gulang ay gagawing

siyam 9 na taong gulang ang criminal liability sa mga kabataang gumagawa ng labag sa
batas.

For Pro/Pabor idepensa ang mungkahing ibaba mula sa 15 taong gulang gagawing
siyam (9) na taong gulang ang criminal liability sa mga kabataang gumagawa ng labag
sa batas.

For Con/Hindi Pabor idepensa na hindi dapat ibaba mula sa siyam (9) na taong
gulang ang criminal liability sa mga kabataang gumagawa ng labag sa batas.
