INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION

• Lavanya Bothra-
o EUMIND was one fantastic experience! We got to know so
much about the Dutch culture, the people, and their daily
lives. I noticed how astounding it is to see that even
though living in two distinct parts of the world, us Indians
and the Dutch have so much in common! Be it our diverse
culture or numerous other festivals, we all are linked some
way or the other. Not only this, but EUMIND also taught me
how to be a good and a receptive leader and work on
my cooperating skills by working in a team. I extend my
heartfelt thanks to EUMIND for making me a part of this
educative exchange program.

• Vidit Ranka –
o The idea of connecting with people of a different nation
and the idea of exchanging their culture, tradition, food
and all other things is truly amazing! I was very excited to
join this project when I first heard of it and the experience
of talking to other peer candidates and getting to know
each other and about each other’s festivals was very
good. It was loads of fun and a knowledgeable
experience talking and interacting with them.

• Mahika Babelia –
o EUMIND is a platform through which I have been able to
interact with the Dutch counterparts and explore more
about their culture. It was a great experience just
communicating with them and learning about the
different and diverse festivals that they celebrate. I am so
grateful for this opportunity and their presentations have
left me more curious to explore their culture.
 COMPARISION

Knowing about the culture of our counterparts has taught me

to appreciate the culture of my own country more and made
me realise how diverse is the culture and heritage of both
countries. I could clearly understand from the vision from the
counterparts that even though our habits, languages and
culture are so different still there is something that binds us
together.

I really appreciate the fact that our counterpart group was

really helpful with sharing us whatever information we needed.
The aura while interacting with them was also very comfortable.
They were extremely cooperative and kind.
