PATHOLOGY – This study deals with the diseases,


symptoms, causes and cure.

PHYSIOLOGY – This study deals with the function of


the organs.
GENETICS – This study deals with the heredity of how a
certain qualities or traits are passed from parents to offspring.

CYTOLOGY – This study deals with the cell structure and


function.

PALEONTOLOGY – This is the study of the history


of life on Earth as based on Fossils.
EMBRYOLOGY – This is the study of stages of
development.

ANATOMY – This is the study of body and function.

TAXONOMY – It is the practice and science of


categorization or classification.
ZOOGEOGRAPHY – It is concerned with
geographic distribution of animal species.

ZOOLOGY
 Zoology is the branch of biology that studies the animal
kingdom, including the structure, embryology, evolution,
classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both
living and extinct, and how they interact with their
ecosystems.
 Zoology makes a huge impact on our world through the
scientific study of the evolution, anatomy, physiology,
behavior, habitats, and health of animals and humans. It
includes diverse approaches such as electron microscopy,
molecular genetics, and field ecology.
