Notes for teachers:


Whilst, by completing this activity sheet pupils may display an awareness of simple directions and positions,
assessment evidence for this outcome could also be gathered from play and real contexts. Experiences and
activities such as moving around the room, being asked to go somewhere or fetch something, following
treasure hunt directions, using programmable movement toys, moving toys in games, etc. may provide a more
holistic bank of evidence.

In movement, games, and using technology I can use simple directions and describe positions. MTH 0-17a

Understands and correctly uses the language of position and direction to solve simple problems in movement
games and technology, for example, in front, behind, above, below, left, right, forwards and backwards.
