to prevent and abate public health nuisances
3. KEY RESULT PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILTY (MAIN DUTIES)
AREA Coordinates public health activities in order for the Management institution to conform to the national set standards
Policy Interprets and implements effectively, policies, regulations
and procedures in order to ensure compliance with set standards Waste Management Adheres to and implements effectively, the Environmental standards and guidelines to ensure institutional and public safety Infection Prevention Orients timely, members of staff on infection prevention practices in order to ensure adherence. Water, Sanitation and Undertakes periodic, water sampling for bacterial and food safety chemical analysis and inspection of food premises and handlers in order to determine chemical compositions
Capacity building Undertakes timely, implementation of capacity building
interventions in order to impart appropriate skills and knowledge to junior staff
Research Undertakes regularly, research projects in order to generate I
nformation and ensure evidence based practice
Monitoring and Monitors and evaluates regularly, adherence to
Evaluation environmental health standards in order to implement appropriate interventions
Performance Appraisal Ensures timely, development of sectional workplans and
