A. Passive Sentences

 Present Tense :

Formula : Subject + is/are + Verb 3 + Complement

- The term “Seafood” is extended to fresh water organism eaten by humans, so


all edible aquatic life may be referred to as seafood.
- The harvesting of wild seafood is known as fishing and the cultivation.
- The cultivation and farming of seafood is known as aquaculture, mariculture, or
in the case of fish, fish farming.
- Most of the seafood harvest is consumed by humans.
- A significant proportion is used as fish food to farm other fish or rear farm
animals.
- Some seafood (kelp) is used as food for other plants (fertilizer).
- A small proportion is used in medicine, or is used industrially for non-food
purposes (leather).
- Fresh fish are filleted and displayed for sale on a bed of crushed ice or

B. Active Sentences

especially in coastal areas. (Present tense)
- Some seafood is feed to aquarium fish, used to feed domestic pets such as cats
(Present tense)
- Fish is highly perishable product. (Present tense)
- Refrigerated train and truck transportation has made fresh fish more widely
available inland.
