A. INTRODUCTION
This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform nursery operations for
agricultural crops including establishing nursery shed, preparation and handling of planting materials,
preparation of growing media, transplanting germinated seedlings and handling of nursery tools and
equipment.

C. ASSESSMENT PLAN
Learner’s progress will be assessed through: 
✔ Written Test – to assess the students’ knowledge regarding the current unit of competency. o The learner
must answer a 30-item exam in one (1) hour. 
o The passing grade is 90% or 27/30. 
✔ Performance Test – to measure the students’ learnings and skills progress in lined with the current
topic.
o The learner must demonstrate and present the given task within three (3) hours.
o The learner’s performance will be based on the Performance Criteria Checklist.
o If the learner has failed to perform the test, he/ she is required to retake the program.
✔ Oral Questioning – to determine and verify learners’ stock knowledge.

Learner’s program will be assessed:

Written Test – to assess the students’ knowledge regarding the current unit of competency.
 The learner must answer a 30-item exam in one (1) hour.
 The passing grade is 90% or 270/30.
Performance Test – to measure the students’ learning’s and skills progress in line with the current topic.
 The learner must demonstrate and present the given task within three (3) hours.

Written Test – to assess the students’ knowledge regarding the current unit of competency.
 The learner must answer a 30-item exam in one (1) hour.

Learner’s program will be assessed:

Written Test – to assess the students’ knowledge regarding the current unit of competency.
 The learner must answer a 30-item exam in one (1) hour.
 The passing grade is 90% or 270/30.
Performance Test – to measure the students’ learning’s and skills progress in line with the current topic.

 The learner must demonstrate and present the given task within three (3) hours.
