1 Preparing for the Upgrade

1.1 Prepare Pc and Power System

The cable is the normal network cable.

1.2 Setting IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway

The default IP address of SMU02B is 192.168.0.10. The default URL which can be
used to access SMU02B is https://192.168.0.10/login.asp. You can set the IP address,
subnet mask and gateway for SMU02B based on customer requirement if needed.

Set the IP address, sub-net mask, and gateway of the SMU on the LCD screen base
on the IP address allocated by customers. The LCD default password is 000001.

Set the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway of your computer, it should be
in the same subnet of SMU02B, but with different IP address.

2 Performing the Upgrade

2.1 Upgrade Software by Upgrade Tool(Upgrading

APP and BSP in any version)
2.1.1 Open The Upgrade Tool
Double click SMU(E) OneKeyUpdateTool 4.6.6 Release.exe and choose the
computer IP.

Note:

If the tool has been opened or the TFTP service of the PC is working, it will be failed
as shown in the below picture.

Solution:

1. Check whether the upgrade tool has been open, if it does, close all the opened
windows and open the tool again.
2. If the tool hasn’t been opened, check whether the TFTP service has been
opened. If it does, close all the service and open the upgrade tool again.

2.1.2 Setting Parameters

Set the parameters as follows.

2.1.3 Start Upgrade

Click the Update button, The system displays the message "Board will restore
factory default!" , Select “Yes”.

This step will take 20mins.

The dialog message will pop up after upgrading successfully.
